To begin, please submit high-resolution images of the front, back, and signature of your artwork.
Examinations typically occur after the research phase; however, we offer flexibility and can conduct early assessments if your timeline or specific needs require it.
Given the high value and fragility of works by artists like Miro, we advise against shipping the artwork unless absolutely necessary. To minimize risk, we offer several remote examination options:
We use a wide range of scientific techniques to authenticate artwork, including material analysis, dating methods, specialized photography, and forensic studies.
The timeframe for authenticating a Gustav Miro work depends on the complexity of the piece. Straightforward cases may take only a few days, while more intricate or disputed pieces may require several weeks or even months.
There is no extra charge for a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). If your artwork is confirmed as authentic, the COA will be included in the final report at no additional cost.
Many of our preliminary services—such as initial inquiries or providing rough value estimates—are free of charge. However, more extensive services, including detailed analysis and authentication, begin at $300, depending on the complexity of the case.
To maintain the integrity of our process and avoid any conflicts of interest, payment is required upfront for our services.
No, we cannot accept payment after the artwork has been sold. Allowing post-sale payments could create a conflict of interest that would compromise the objectivity of our evaluation.
